Pretende se com o presente projecto complementar o existente Colégio, que detém as valências de Jardim de infância e 1º ciclo, com o 2º e 3º ciclos, num lote distinto, sem qualquer relação física.
O edifício desenvolve se no limite do lote de modo a dar continuidade à linguagem arquitectónica do sitio, em que os diferentes tipos de habitação e respectivos muros que se encontram no limite dos respectivos lotes, junto às vias de circulação e, por outro lado, libertar toda a restante área para campos de jogos e espaços de estar, melhorando a sua salubridade, em especial no Inverno. Sendo que, a consolidação do tecido urbano, é também reforçada pelas relação das diferentes cotas altimétricas do edifício com a envolvente.
O corpo situado a nascente, designado principal, desenvolverá todo o programa central e, o corpo localizado a norte, será do desígnio teórico.
Esta opção teve por base diferentes premissas, nomeadamente a divisão programática (teoria e prática); o controlo de ruídos; a orientação solar e o controlo das relações visuais com o cemitério.
O muro da azinhaga confinante, a sul, elemento particular do sítio, será estendido para o interior do lote, funcionando como um elemento organizador do espaço exterior, promovendo uma diversidade de ambientes e usos.

The aim with this project is to complement the existing College, which owns the valences of Kindergarten and 1st cycle, with the 2nd and 3rd cycles, in a separate batch, without any physical relationship.
The building on the edge of the lot in order to continue the architectural language of the place, where the different types of housing and its walls are in the limits of their lots, along the passageways and on the other hand, free all the remaining area for playing fields and living spaces, improving their health, especially in winter. Since the consolidation of the urban tissue, is also strengthened by the relationship of the different altimetric elevations of the building with its surroundings.
The body located on the east, designed as principal, will develop all the core curriculum and, the body located on the north, will be of the design theory.
